CompTIA reports the exam on a scale of 100 to 900. 750 is the passing score.
CompTIA does not disclose how many questions you must answer correctly, or the algorithm that turns a raw result into that scale. A readiness figure on Acedify is Acedify's estimate.

Performance-based questions
Simulations, partial credit, and saved work
CompTIA describes a mix of multiple-choice and performance-based questions. A simulation is an approximation of an environment or tool, such as a firewall, a network diagram, a terminal window, or an operating system.
What CompTIA says
Partial credit may be given on simulation performance-based questions.
More than one solution path can be accepted.
Simulation questions can be skipped and returned to. Work saves automatically.
